It’s time to start thinking about the annual Sonoita Rodeo coming up this Labor Day. And you can’t have a Labor Day Rodeo without a Rodeo Queen.

This year, the annual Sonoita Rodeo Contest will be held on July 28, 2007. All entries must be received by June 8. Applicants must reside in either Santa Cruz County, Cochise County or Pima County in Arizona. The Rodeo Queen Contest is open to contestants in age of 16 - 24 year. The Rodeo Queen winne will also receive a $1000 scholarship.

In addition to the Rodeo Queen Contest, there will be the traditional Sonoita Rodeo Princess and Sonoita Little Miss Contests. The Princess Contest is open to ages 10 - 15. The Little Miss Contest is open to ages 9 and under.
